A precaution that can be taken to prevent child physical abuse is by educating parents about apporopriate child discipline and parenting techinques. Learning proper punishments for children's misbehavior will decrease the amount of child abuse in this country. The only problem is money. How will parents pay for those classes and how will those programs be funded? Some parents physically abuse their children without knowing that they are, because it was the way their parents punished them. By educating parents they will understand what is bad punishment and why. There may be some parents who feel it would be ineffective for the reason that they believe they know what is the best way to discipline their children and that nobody should tell them how to do so. People may also object to it's funding, because it may rise taxes.
To try and prevent child sexual abuse from happening. There are certain behaviors a person can watch for. Most child abuse victims are abused by people they know and trust. If a family member is acting a certain way with a child, whoever is watching has the opportunity to do something and prevent anything more serious from happening. Some people may be too embarassed to actually do something, because they might be afraid of being wrong. If these behaviors to watch for are advertised, more people will be informed and be watchful for those behaviors. It might be a commmercial or advertisement that people might object to, becasue it may seem inappropriate.
After child abuse children need to recover and the best solution for that is therapy. Therapy has the ability to help cope with a child abuse victims behavioral problems and psychological scars. Maybe a child just needs support, reassurance, and love to cope with those problems and therapy would just be a waste of time. But, if a child sees a therapist they can benefit on achieving their developmental milestones. People might object to it, because therapy is expensive.
